What is a self-dumping hopper used for?
The self-dumping hopper is secured to the forklift with the help of a locking chain. The hopper is capable to automatically dump when the bumper releases the side of the dumpster. After dumping, the hopper returns to its upright position automatically. The hopper can also be manually dumped with the help of a cable that the operator can manipulate from their seat on the forklift. The useable fork pocket is 7.5" X 2.5", and the base fork pocket is 3/16" thick.
